Her practice focuses on public offerings, banking regulation, financial technology, issuance of equity and debt in local and international markets, cross-border financial transactions, corporate restructurings, financial conglomerates, M&A, loans, and general corporate advisory work — experience she has developed over more than 30 years.
She earned her Law degree from the National University of La Plata and completed an academic exchange program at the University of Ottawa. She has furthered her education with specialized courses in International Humanitarian Law at the University of El Salvador, Compliance and Business Law at IAE Business School, a Certification in Energy Economics and Energy Efficiency at the Argentine Institute of Energy “General Mosconi,” and a Professional Certificate from the Ethics & Compliance Initiative.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Legal Theory and Legal Argumentation at the Law School of the University of Buenos Aires and is working on her doctoral thesis. She is the author of several articles in her field of expertise.
María Angélica serves as a Board Member of the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange (BCBA) and is Vice President of the Electronic Gas Market (MEG). She also leads the financial team of the Argentine-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (CCAC) and teaches in the Intensive Training Program for Corporate Lawyers at Thomson Reuters Argentina.
