Carolina Zang, Partner and former Managing Partner, leads the Banking, Finance & Capital Markets practice.

With over 30 years of experience, she specializes in corporate legal advisory focused on finance, capital markets, debt restructuring, investment funds, private equity, venture capital, M&A, real estate transactions, and corporate governance. Carolina Zang is one of the most recognized voices in financial and corporate law in the region, combining technical excellence with a strategic perspective that has established her as a reference in finance, capital markets, and corporate governance. Beyond her legal expertise, Carolina is distinguished by her commitment to diversity, inclusion, and pro bono work.

Carolina earned her law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and an LL.M. from New York University School of Law. More recently, she completed the Postgraduate Program in AI and Law at the University of Buenos Aires (2024) and the Value Creation Through Effective Boards program at IESE-HBS (2025). Her professional career includes roles in the Legal Department of the Secretariat of Natural Resources and Human Environment of Argentina and experience as a foreign associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP in New York.

She also contributes her corporate expertise as a board member of several public and private companies in Argentina and abroad, and in academia, teaching courses on international financial transactions at various universities.

Carolina is an active member of the Advisory Council of CIPPEC and the Lawyers’ Council for Civil and Economic Rights at The Vance Center. She is a member of the SPPI of the International Bar Association (and former Chair of the Latin American Regional Forum) and serves as Chair of the Pro Bono Commission of the Buenos Aires Bar Association. Since 2023, she has been a co-founding member of JAE3, an open network against antisemitism.

She has been recognized as “Best Finance Lawyer in Latin America” by Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards, as well as by Chambers Women in Law Awards and FLOR for Diversity, by Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, LACCA, and included among the Most Inspiring Women in Law by Latin Lawyer, and as one of Argentina’s Women Leaders by La Nación.
