The Firm’s eight values are the basis of our action as a legal community. They are our support and align not only our work methods but also how we relate to one another, internally and with our trusted clients. Based on organizational standards and procedures, and technical skills required for the profession, our core values are reinforced on a daily basis by means of an IT platform and app we have recently implemented at ZBV, which allows a constant and immediate feedback throughout all departments.
ZBV GENDER DIVERSITY INITIATIVES
ZBV is built upon certain fundamental values that are deemed critical to the success of the firm. Education, expertise and enthusiasm are major pillars that we constantly promote internally, and as we continuously expand, diversity and integration are evermore a sense of honor and duty. This is very much reflected in the elevated percentage of female partners in the firm and the overall parity we have achieved. Currently, 45% of ZBV partners are women, a gender ration well above the market average of 16% as depicted by a Latin Lawyer 2016 survey.
In order to make parenthood and work compatible for our associates, paralegals and support personnel, ZBV has implemented several work regimes for all employees with children and/or for those who care for an elderly person:

EXTENDED PATERNITY LEAVE
ZBV has an extended paternity leave arrangement for fathers. While the argentine law grants only two days off for fathers at childbirth, our program gives every father the opportunity to spend two entire weeks with his baby, without salary reductions. This program is beneficial to the father, the baby and also the mother, who can now share child caring responsibilities equally with her partner.
Our ZBV Flexi-Friday program gives associates one half-day off a month. The lawyers are able to request half-day off one working Friday per month, on a rotational basis per department. The purpose of the Flexi-Friday program is to encourage innovation, creativity and healthy minds and thus, achieve better relationships within ZBV and with our clients.
In order to promote healthy lifestyles and sustainability, ZBV offers all employees who ride their bike to the Firm a free-of-charge and safe bicycle parking spot. We also give all ZBV cyclists a helmet as a gift, ensuring safety measures and motivating team to join the program.

ZBV CHILL-OUT LOUNGE
Our chill out lounge has a prime corner location at our Firm, with and an amazing view of the city, TV, video games, streaming media y foosball table for daily breaks. Our ZBV foosball tournaments are very popular and a great way to integrate all members of our community.
The ZBV Associates Committee is headed by two associates which are appointed by votation by junior and senior lawyers at the Firm. The Committee represents all associates and elevates ideas, proposals and suggested work methods to the partners. This Committee has proven to be a fountain of innovation and permanent motivation.
