Pablo Vergara del Carril, partner at ZBV, heads the Corporate and M&A department and co-heads the Natural Resources department. His main areas of expertise include Corporate and M&A, Real Estate, Mining, and Sports & Entertainment.
Pablo specializes in the planning, structuring, negotiation of stock purchases and sales, subscriptions, business collaborations, joint ventures, real estate operations, purchase and sale of on-going concerns and put and call options agreements, mergers and split-ups, private equity and venture capital operations, public tender process and mining projects.
He has worked extensively in many industry sectors, including Real Estate (IRSA, Grupo W, Pampa, etc.), Media & Entertainment (Netflix, Alpha Media, DF Entertainment, etc.), Mining (Austral Gold, Lake Resources, Fortescue, etc.), Leisure (NH Hotels, Hotusa Eurostar, Intercontinental, etc.), Sports (Argentine Rugby Union, Altenis, Efe1, etc.), Tech, Finetch, Crypto, Banking, Construction, and Health, among others.
Pablo is a member of the Board of the Argentine Chamber of Mining Companies, Board of the Chamber of Corporations and of the Board of the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange, Co-President of the Buenos Aires City Chapter of the American Bar Association, and member of the AmCham International Commerce Committee.
Pablo received his law degree from Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) in 1991 and is now a professor in the graduate degree courses on Business Law, Capital Markets, Commercial Contracts, and Corporate Law. He was an intern for three months at Lovells (London) and foreign associate at Clifford Chance in London and New York (1992-1993). He acquired experience in the judicial branch as secretary in commercial courts while in Law School, and also in public administration as the Director of the Department of Real Estate Administration in the City of Buenos Aires (1995-1996).
He has been distinguished by prestigious international publications such as Chambers and Partners, Latin Lawyer, IFLR 1000, Legal 500, LACCA, Who is Who, and Best Lawyer, both in Real Estate and Corporate Law.
